Our journey together began as middle schoolers in the halls of Richard Winn Academy! From the very start, we shared laughter, jokes, and those moments that would lay the foundation of our future. As we started high school, we began to grow closer together. The summer before 10th grade, July 11th, 2018, Zack asked me to be his girlfriend. From that moment on we have been inseparable, creating lifelong memories, celebrating milestones and growing together.

One week in October, Zack asked me to go on a date. That weekend, October 26th, 2024 we went to Bald Rock Heritage Preserve, where there was a huge rock that overlooked the mountains. When we first got to the rock, we took pictures and looked at the view. We then started to walk on different trails that led to a more private rock that overlooked the mountains. So of course, we took more pictures. At first, I set my phone up against a rock to get a full body picture of us. However, you could not see our faces because the picture was too dark. I asked Zack to fix it to try to take another picture, little did I know this was the moment he would propose. Instead of him setting the phone up for a picture, it was a video. When he walked over to me to "take the picture" he grabbed my hands and then got down on one knee. I was so excited to the point I could not speak to say yes, so instead it was a head nod. I could not ask for a better man to spend the rest of my life with!
