We met online, and within the week, went on a date. Our first date was at Cremona's in Dallas on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. River was leaving town for two weeks, and we managed to squeeze in 5 dates before he left. While River was gone, we talked on the phone every night for two plus hours. On the last night he was gone, River invited Anna to meet his family the next night at his brother's birthday. On August 13, 2023, River asked Anna to be his girlfriend. A few weeks later, Anna brought River to mass and her dad's birthday celebration. "I love you" came in late September of 2023, when on a trip to Shreveport to visit River's family. Since then, we have been on several trips and adventures. We went on a cruise to celebrate our first anniversary. We have had the privilege of witnessing several weddings of our dear friends. For our second anniversary, River planned a trip to New Orleans. While on the trip, we ate at so many amazing restaurants and got to experience the French Quarter, the World War II museum, and the aquarium. On Friday, July 11, 2025, River proposed in Jackson Square Garden. Following the proposal, we had a private carriage ride and a delicious dinner. We look forward to continuing to experience life and growing in our faith together. We are so grateful for all the wonderful people who love and support us. We cannot wait for our wedding day.
