Anna and Peter’s story began years ago at PBK Architects - though not in the same city. Anna worked in the San Antonio office, Peter in Houston, and their paths crossed during client meetings when Anna traveled to Houston. Between project discussions and Anna occasionally calling Peter to politely ask for money from his roofing contractors to support the political action committees she managed each election season, a connection was forming…even if neither quite realized it yet. Life, work, and time carried them in different directions. Peter left PBK in January 2020, and later that year Anna moved to Houston to work in the PBK corporate office. About a year later, fate (and baseball) stepped in when they reconnected at an Astros watch party. The timing was right this time around. In November 2022, they officially went “off the apps” as the kids say (though neither one was actually on the apps) - sealed by Anna meeting Peter’s daughter, Scarlett. As if on cue, the Astros celebrated Anna and Peter's "official" status with a World Series win that very same night, making it a date neither of them will ever forget. Today, Anna and Peter are both still in the construction world and still in sales - Anna in commercial HVAC, Peter in commercial roofing. Despite working in the same industry for years, they’ve somehow never ended up on a roof at the same time (a mystery that continues to baffle them both). What they have built together is a life full of laughter, teamwork, and love - and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.
