The ceremony starts at 5pm, but we ask that you arrive by 4:30pm at the latest. That will ensure you have enough time to park and take the short walk to the ceremony site. Because our wedding is on a Friday, please account for traffic when planning your drive (it could add an extra 15-30 minutes if commuting from Portland).
Horning's Hideout is a large, wooded venue that has 3 different wedding sites throughout the property! When you arrive, follow the signs to "Anna & Noelle's Wedding". There will be a designated field to park in for our guests. Once you park, there is a short downhill walk to the ceremony site. The reception area is right next to it. There are some unpaved paths and grassy fields between the ceremony site and reception area. Please wear whatever footwear you like, but some heels may be difficult to walk in. We will have a golf cart to transport you to the ceremony site if needed.
Horning's Hideout is located at 21215 NW Brunswick Canyon Rd, North Plains, OR 97133. When you arrive, follow signs to "Anna + Noelle's Wedding". Our guests have a designated field to park in (do not park in the first main lot that you see). We recommend that you drive or carpool to the venue. You can schedule a ride (Uber, not Lyft) from Portland. Please note that the venue is 45-60 minutes away, so please plan accordingly!
Dress for a semi-formal summer party! We want everyone to look and feel their best.
The average weather on August 7th in North Plains, OR is highs of 81-83'F and lows of 52-50'F. The venue is located in a wooded canyon with lots of shade, so it will likely be slightly cooler than the projected area! We recommend you bring a jacket for the evening, there are no inside/heated spaces.
If you'd like to be close to the venue, we recommend you stay in Forest Grove or Hillsboro! Both are ~20 minutes away. If you'd like to stay in Portland (45-60 minutes away), our favorite neighborhoods for AirBnBs are Mt Tabor, Montavilla, Alberta Arts District, Buckman, Richmond and Laurelhurst. Find more info and hotel recommendations on our Travel page!
Please only bring your children or a significant other if they are included in your RSVP. In order to invite as much of our community as possible, we had to limit the amount of children and additional guests.
If you're camping after the wedding, we recommend you bring the following supplies: a tent (or share with a friend), sleeping pad, sleeping bag, pillow, headlamp or flashlight, water bottle, warm layers (it could dip into the 40's at night) and comfy clothes to wear after the ceremony / the next morning. If you need help sourcing any camping supplies, let us know. If you have non-electric string-lights, lanterns or camp lighting, please bring them! We will have some lighting in the area, but additional lights are encouraged. The campsite is a short walk from the wedding venue, in a dry, grassy area. Campfires won't be allowed in August. We may stay up late, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. We'll provide a camp breakfast and cups/plates/utensils Saturday morning at 9am. Check out is at 10:30am!
