We went to the Taco Bell Cantina in Newport Beach. You have not lived until you've had a slushy Baja Blast with rum and a chalupa. First Valentine's Day: February 14, 2023. Anna asks if we are a "Valentine's Day" couple. Katherine says, "Well... we're not anti-Valentine's Day." We decide to celebrate at the L.A. Zoo and at the cupcake ATM in Beverly Hills. First major trip: May 2023, New York City. Anna graduated from Fordham. We saw a musical about corn. We went to a Nikola Tesla themed speakeasy. First Black Belt: July 2023. Katherine achieves first dan in Karate. She and Anna watch Kill Bill in celebration. First Couples Costume: Halloween 2023. Monster Cereal mascots, Caramela Creeper and Count Chocula AND Bootlegger Hades and Flapper Persephone at an underworld speakeasy party. Moving in together: November 18, 2023. Our lil apartment- filled with love, old set pieces, and a pink velvet couch we got from a salon. Heather: May 17, 2024- Our lives didn't start until 'Heather came in. We should really be nicer to Heather. She deserves so much chicken and cheese. When we get unjustly mad at her for barking at strangers, she shows us her pink belly and all is right in the world. Heather is the Sun and the Evening Star. We should all bow to Heather. (she's behind me). First Softball Game: September 9, 2024. Anna joins the Happy Hour team. Katherine and Heather cheer from the stands! First question popped: February 15, 2025 at Hicksville Pines in Idyllwild. Anna proposed on a snowy balcony. Katherine said yes.
