Question

When should I book my Hotel?

Answer

The discount codes for our reservation blocks expire on Jan 9, 2025 so we recommend booking the hotel rooms asap (maybe even before you book your flights). We don't expect hotel prices to fluctuate or drop.

Question

When should I buy my flights to Amsterdam?

Answer

According to Google, the cheapest time to buy international flights is around 6 months before date of departure. However if you would like to use points, it never hurts to look! There are good deals to be found for purchasing flights with AirFrance/KLM as well as Virgin Atlantic points a few months in advance. In general, round trip flights are cheaper than one-way flights (except when booking with points).

Question

Can I bring additional guests or a +1?

Answer

Due to strict venue size restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests beyond those listed on each wedding invitation during the ceremony and the dinner. However, we are able to accommodate additional guests at the afterparty.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible using the RSVP section on this website and searching by the name on your invitation.

Question

How do I get from the Amsterdam Airport to my hotel?

Answer

We recommend checking google maps for rideshare options including Ubers, taxis, and public transport! Consider downloading the Bolt app as this service is more popular than Uber. An Uber or Bolt between the Airport and Hotel is about € 25-35. The 397 bus departing from the airport drops off right in front of the Conservatorium hotel (Amsterdam, Museumplein stop). The area around Hotel Conservatorium is not within car-restricted zones and can therefore be reached by Ubers and taxis at all times.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please refer to the Travel + Hotel section on this website for more details There are a variety of hotels that we have negotiated rates for within walking distance of the venue. However, since Amsterdam is a highly walkable city with great public transportation, you don't have to limit yourself to those!

Question

How do I get around in Amsterdam?

Answer

Public transportation is typically the best means of getting around in Amsterdam. Cars such as taxis and Ubers are often not allowed on streets in the heart of the city. We recommend using Google Maps! Most buses and trams allow you to purchase a ticket with cash upon boarding.

Question

What do you recommend we do in Amsterdam during our trip?

Answer

We have published a "Things To Do" section accessible at the top of this site with some of our favorites!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please refer to the events section for the various dress codes for our events.

Question

Can I bring you a gift?

Answer

We are truly honored to have your presence at our wedding, and your support means the world to us. While your attendance is the greatest gift we could ask for, we understand that some guests may wish to express their well-wishes through a tangible token. Due to logistical constraints in transporting gifts back home, we kindly suggest considering monetary gifts, if you feel inclined to contribute.

Question

Is there a Wedding Party?

Answer

We believe all our invited guests are special to us and decided to forgo a traditional wedding party.
