Things To Do

There are so many things to do and love on Jekyll Island! We encourage you to check out the shops and restaurants in the Beach Village and to check out some of the island's rich history and natural beauty. Learn about Jekyll's history as the winter retreat for some of America's 1900s titans of industry and the efforts the island makes to remain a sea turtle sanctuary. Welcome to the Golden Isles! We can't wait to celebrate with you.
Driftwood Beach

Driftwood Beach

Head to the northern part of the island to see Jekyll's iconic Driftwood Beach. Best for sunrises and sunsets, but highly recommend a beach walk here if you can!

The Wharf Restaurant

You won't find a better sunset than at the end of The Wharf's pier. Located riverside, directly in front of Jekyll Island Club Hotel this is one of our favorite dinner spots. On weekends there is generally live music, good seafood and plenty of your favorite cocktails and beer.

Zachry's Riverhouse

Located on Jekyll's riverside, Zachry's Riverhouse is no frills, just some really good Southern fare. Make sure to order the buttermilk pie for dessert, they run out fast!
