Nubble Lighthouse
Nothing says Maine like visiting a lighthouse on the coast!
York Beach
We love the beach (especially a Maine beach) so highly recommend checking out York beach! Just a short walk from the wedding venue.
Old Port
Check out the old port in Portland, ME if you have some time on your hands. There are many restaurants and shops to check out and is a favorite of ours to visit!
Portland -Peaks Island Ferry
If you REALLY have some time on your hands, one of our favorite places to go is peaks island. You can take the ferry out of Casco bay in Portland and walk or bike around the island. There are some gift shops and restaurants as well!
Portland Head Light
Another gorgeous lighthouse! Also has several trails around the park and an old fort that you can explore here. Fun fact: this is where we got engaged! And there is usually a lobster roll food truck if you’re looking for some good Maine lobster!
Kennebunkport
Kennebunkport is a classic coastal Maine town, which we absolutely love. With several beaches and shops downtown, it is easily a place we recommend anyone coming to Maine for the first time to visit! Another great place for lobster rolls is Allison’s restaurant in downtown Kennebunk😋
