Flight

FLYING TO TELLURIDE

MONTROSE (MTJ) airport is a 1 hour 20 minute drive from town. Shuttle service from Montrose to Telluride is available through several companies listed below, or you can rent a car from the Montrose airport. Do note, once you arrive in Telluride you won't need a car unless you want to explore the area. TELLURIDE (TEX) airport is a 10 minute drive from town and has 1-2 small flights on Denver Air Connection per day from Denver and Phoenix. DURANGO (DRO) and GRAND JUNCTION (GJT) airports are both about 2 hour 30 minute drives and have direct flights from some cities in the western half of the US.

The drive to Telluride from Denver is approximately 6-7 hours and is very beautiful (tip: don't miss the Black Canyon of the Gunnison). This could be a beautiful option for anyone coming in a week early.
