We have decided to use paper-based RSVP cards and have provided an addressed, pre-stamped envelope with each invitation suite sent to a domestic (U.S.) address. However, if you happen to damage or misplace your RSVP card set and/or live outside of the U.S. and prefer not to mail the RSVP card back, do not worry! Simply e-mail Ann-Margaret directly at amtomocik@gmail.com with the required information.
Ann-Margaret and Shawn are delighted to announce that one of Ann-Margaret's former English professors from the University of St Andrews, Dr Sara Lodge, will be officiating at the wedding ceremony. Dr Lodge specializes in 19th-century literature and culture and is also interested in rhetoric and speechwriting. She recently wrote a book on Victorian nonsense writer Edward Lear. For more information about Dr Lodge, check out her St Andrews staff page at: https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/english/people/sjl15
The dress code is black tie optional, so tuxedos are just that — completely optional (and the groom himself won't be wearing one!).
Yes, our littlest guests are very welcome to join in the festivities! L.A. Wedding Sitter will be providing an on-site kid lounge with professional, vetted babysitters during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Children and babies will eat dinner with their parents in the reception hall.
The kid's meal comes with chicken fingers, mac 'n' cheese, and fruit salad.
We have opted not to have dancing at our wedding, as we're not big on dancing and have decided to make the wedding ceremony itself the main focus of our celebration of marriage. During the reception, though, we will have live piano music as well as other unique and enjoyable activities for our guests' entertainment.
Our wedding registry consists of our honeymoon fund, where guests can make contributions if so inclined. The biggest gift of all, though, is your presence on our big day! We will be embarking on a vacation to Australia and New Zealand after the wedding. We at first considered booking a cruise but later decided to explore both countries independently to ensure maximum freedom and adventure! Thank you for your love, and we can’t wait to share our honeymoon adventures with you!
