Things To Do

A beautiful town nestled along the Necker River in the hills of Germany. Visit the shops and winding streets as you walk to Heidleberg Castle for amazing views.

Just across the french border, Strasbourg offers french cuisine and architecture, and the gothic style Strasbourg Cathedral.

A cozy wine village near Edenkoben on the southern wine route of the Südliche Weinstraße.

Sankt Martin

This 11th century cathedral in Speyer is definitely worth a visit.

An excellent engineering and technical museum for adults and children. It has everything from old cars and trains to a Soviet space shuttle and a full size Boeing 747.

Grab a schorle and some food while enjoying the views of the region. The castle is a 1.5 mile hike away from the parking lot.

Burgruine Madenburg

A castle with beautiful views of the Pfalz, wine, beer, and food. This castle can be visited by car, no hiking required.

Landeck Castle

Take the ski style lift up to the castle and enjoy some beer, wine, and food. From the top of the castle ruins you'll be able to see the villages in the Pfalz.
