My brother & I were in Home Depot shopping for electrical supplies. I entered an aisle & saw this tall, handsome, glass of chocolate milk standing at the end! LOLOL! I did NOT want him to think my brother was my man so I immediately said to my brother ‘Remember MOMMY needs light bulbs too’! LOL! Derek & I never spoke but we DEFINITELY made that ‘heyyyy’ eye contact! LOLOL! Later on that evening I wrote a FB stat stating, “I just spent the last hour fussing with my brother in a store.” IMMEDIATELY, Derek inboxed me & said ‘So that WAS YOU in Home Depot!’ We didn’t even realize we were already friends on FB! And that was the beginning of us conversing🥰

We had our Soft Opening for our business, Sip & Scent Candle Bar… At the end of the event, guests wrote down critiques & placed them in the suggestion box. I opened the 1st one, read it out loud & it said “Will you marry me?” Immediately Derek stood, walked up with my ring in his hands & proposed🥰
