It all began with a country song and a night we didn’t see coming. We met at the Maverick King of Clubs country bar, introduced by mutual friends. What was supposed to be just another night out quickly turned into something unforgettable, a spontaneous Taco Bell run, dancing under truck headlights (I know, doesn't sound like Derek but it really happened), and the kind of easy connection you can’t plan for. We officially started dating on November 20, 2021, and from that moment on, life’s been one big adventure. Whether we’re snowboarding down the mountain, hiking a new trail, riding side by sides, playing softball, golfing, or just chillin’ together, we genuinely enjoy every second we spend with one another. There’s no need for fancy plans, we have fun no matter what we’re doing, as long as we’re doing it together. In early 2023, we moved in together, and in 2024, we bought our first home where we now live with our two pups, Oakley and Kona (who Anjelica may or may not treat like actual children). They’ve brought even more love, chaos, and cuddles into our lives. Through all of life’s highs and lows, we’ve grown stronger, building a life rooted in laughter, faith, and friendship. We’re incredibly grateful for how far we’ve come and excited to see what the Lord has in store for us next. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
