You know that feeling when you're merrily on you way and see something that makes you stop dead in your tracks? Well, that something was a someone for me. Let's go back 7...8 years (wow). It was a beautiful summer day, birds flying high above the Ecuadorian mountain range. A young man reads through the profiles of all the wonderful new friends he'll come to make at university, and then...OMG! He sees the kind of woman you encounter once in a generation - well read, artistically gifted, and drop dead gorgeous. He pined over her for months, writing love stories and poems, but feeling a love as unrequited as John and Cortana, Harry and Hermione, and Romeo and Juliette's. Fortunately, love found a way. In the middle of a district known for its Christmas cheer and distillation, he popped the question, asking a young Anjelica if she'd be his. After what felt like an eternity of silence, she made her true feelings known with a resounding "YES"! The Distillery District would come to be a pivotal location in our love lives. We would dine there as students, fuelling our hearts and minds with nothing but Balzac's succulent nectars; planning our favourite little sister's mind-bending murder mystery mere days before the deadline; and on the eve of our 7th anniversary, celebrating the life changing "YES" that would propel our love story to a level hitherto unthought of - marriage! So there you have it folks - our love story, abridged. Did we skip some juicy bits? Of course...our families are going to read this. But just know that through the years, we've lived the kind of lives that people write about in novels, and we can't wait to have you witness the next great chapter of our lives this summer.
