You know the story of guy meets girl? The one where their eyes meet from across the room and then BAM they just instantly know? Well, this isn’t that kind of story, but it was the beginning of something very special, unbeknownst to the couple. It all started back in 2012. James entered his friend's home and he saw the most beautiful girl standing in the kitchen. He mustered up all his charm and introduced himself to her. Her name was Anjanie and he found himself wanting to know more about her. They talked and watched movies together, but she wasn't swept off her feet just yet. She finally agreed to go out on a date with him. This was James' opportunity to shine! He took her into the city for some dinner and dancing. They laughed and danced the night away. It was the best date Anjanie had ever been on. James was charming and funny and like no one she'd ever met. Unfortunately, the timing was off and they both went their separate ways. Anjanie moved to North Carolina, James to Arizona. They didn't know at the time that what started out as a mere chance meeting would blossom into a whirlwind romance. They continued to talk over the years, seeing each other occasionally, but that changed in 2016 when James announced that he was moving to Raleigh to be near to his family. They were both very excited. This could be their chance to pick up where they left off! They began spending time together again, but this time was different. This time, they both knew. After many dates and countless amounts of laughter, James proposed to Anjanie and the rest is history.
