Haldi into Holi

Attire: White and/or yellow. We will be using washable, non-toxic colors for the holi celebration but please wear festive clothes that you don’t mind getting a splash of color on.
The haldi ceremony is a vibrant celebration where loved ones come together to apply turmeric paste to the bride and groom, symbolizing purification, prosperity, and the glow of new beginnings. The haldi ceremony will be followed by lunch and then a playful Holi. Holi is the Indian festival of colors, typically celebrated in March, marking the arrival of spring. The festivities involve throwing colored powders on one another. Expect lots of fun and laughter and be willing to get messy with many bursts of bright moments!

We've arranged for a traditional Indian thali lunch prior to commencement of the baraat and wedding ceremony.
Baraat & Wedding Ceremony

Attire: Traditional wedding attire. Avoid red and white.
The baraat marks the groom’s grand entrance — complete with music, dancing, and lots of energy. Both the bride and the groom’s side are welcome to join the procession leading to the wedding ceremony. The ceremony is the heart of the celebrations, where two souls unite in love and tradition amidst sacred rituals, vows, and blessings.
