Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite Pittsburgh spots with you!

Three Rivers Heritage Trail

North Shore Trail, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

For a fun way to see the city, check out the Three Rivers Heritage Trail—a 24‑mile riverfront route that connects you to some of Pittsburgh’s best spots. We loved living along the Trail in our old North Shore apartment! The North Shore section of the Heritage Trail is easily accessible using the city's lightrail system or a short Uber ride from the Sheraton, or from any of the city's rental bikeshare stations.

Strip District

Pittsburgh, PA

For a true taste of Pittsburgh, head to The Strip District, aka "The Strip". It’s a wonderfully chaotic mix of markets, coffee shops, and restaurants. If you're looking for a great way to spend the day there, check out the Heinz History Museum or Puttshack! Our favorite spots in The Strip include: Prestogeorge Coffee & Tea Cafe Raymond Penzeys Spices PA Libations

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Phipps Conservatory is one of Pittsburgh’s gems — an amazing botanical garden filled with tropical plants, seasonal flower shows, and stunning outdoor spaces. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or a burst of color in the middle of the city--and very close to our first few dates in Schenley Park!
