Smart Casual or Business Casual
An aufruf is a traditional Jewish ceremony prior to the wedding where the couple is given an aliyah (an honour relating to reading a portion of the Torah at a Jewish prayer service). At the First Narayever, all adults (12+) are required to wear a head covering (regardless of gender or religion). We will provide kippot (yarmulkes) and doilies for all. Alternatively, you may bring your own, or wear a hat or fascinator.
