To get there: 1) fill out the EU form from your airline 2) provide proof of vaccine OR negative test within 72 hours OR doctors letter that you recently recovered from covid 3) passport While you’re there including the wedding venue: similar to NYC to dine indoors, visit tourist attractions and to attend social events you must show: 1) CDC vaccination card OR negative test within 72 hours OR doctors letter that you recently recovered from covid (this is equivalent to the Italy Greenpass you may have read about) and 2) passport. To get back to the USA you need 1) a negative test taken within 72 hours of flying back and 2) passport. We know a few people that just got back from or are currently in Italy and have noted the process is quite easy. One tip we’ve heard is if in the rare case there is a venue that isn’t aware that the Italian government recognizes your cdc card is to have your hotel speak with them in Italian.
