We found each other on an app, we talked for a few months on the phone. Then we met in person the day of the Cubs world series rally at the Elburn train station. The plan came about the night before the rally he said that he was going with a few friends, then asked me if I wanted to join them. He was with his cousin and one of his buddies, then it turned out one of his sisters happened to be at the station on their way to the rally as well. So it ended up being a group trip, which turned out to be a great time.
We were supposed to be going on a double date night with two of our friends to see a movie in the Chicago. They had decided change it to the morning, because our friends had things to with their kids in the afternoon. Ryan said that he started to get nervous that I would figure it out, but I didn't. So we got to the Elburn train station (where we first met) and the train that was there had just pulled away everyone seemed pretty calm for we had just missed the train. But I didn't think anything of it, we start walking up the stairs and then we get to the tracks. Ryan then starts explaining how this is the first place that we had met then he says that it will also be the first place he was going to do "this" and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. That moment had made my year, and from that moment on I have been so excited about becoming his wife.
