It all started July 29th, 2022 at a country music festival called Watershed. After Anissa found herself stranded, Anthony came to the rescue by offering her a place to stay at his campsite and driving her back to her car the next morning. From that moment on, fate had clearly stepped in. Less than a week later, they had their first official date wandering around Edmonds until the late hours of the night. Since then, they’ve been pretty much inseparable. In those early days, Anissa worked late nights bartending while Anthony had to wake up early for work at USM, so he would leave his apartment key under the mat so she could slip in and fall asleep in his bed. Every day together just felt natural, and after six months Anissa asked Anthony to move in. The rest, as they say, is history. Fast forward to Christmas morning 2024, when Anthony got down on one knee at Anissa’s favorite place in the world: her grandparents’ house. With family gathered around, he asked the easiest question she’s ever had to answer. It was a perfect, heartfelt proposal filled with love and holiday magic. What makes their relationship so special is simple: they make each other laugh every day, they’re a team no matter what challenges come their way, and they always build each other up. Life feels lighter and brighter for them together, even when things aren’t perfect. Now, Anthony and Anissa are excited for everything the future holds. Marriage is just the beginning of their greatest adventure yet, and they feel incredibly blessed to have such amazing friends and family supporting them along the way. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
