Adam and Anissa met online; Adam had a picture of a buck he shot but he was older so Anissa didn't pay him much attention. After talking for awhile and some bad jokes about a steak they started hanging out. Soon birthdays were spent together, families were met, and vacations were being taken. Along their journey the family grew with their daughter, Calliope.

While on a family vacation in Tennessee, Anissa wanted to take a helicopter ride and Adam obliged. Spending the ride taking pictures out the window Anissa got tapped on the shoulder and turned to see what was so interesting out Adam's window; it took longer than it should have for Anissa to realize Adam was on one knee and holding a ring. A yes and some shared tears gave way to one of the most memorable days for both!
