One of the last architectural vestiges of the colonial era in the city. Good for an easy stroll, photos, and evening cultural events when something is on, it is also near the Napier Museum, an beautiful art and natural history museum
The city’s signature landmark and one of Kerala’s most important temples. Note that entry rules and dress codes are strict, and non-Hindus are generally not allowed inside the temple sanctum/complex areas. Still worth a see from the outside. Do check out the Methan Mani, a 19th century cuckoo clock tower in it's eastern entrance
A hill-station day trip for fans of a trek with cooler air, greenery, winding roads, and views. Best started early in the morning. Sidenote: In case of heavy rains, while the views are magical, trekking might be difficult, and might be temporarily closed off, so call ahead.
