January is one of the best months to visit Bengaluru! The weather is mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures around 20-25°C (68-77°F) and cooler evenings around 15°C (59°F).
The Ring Ceremony & Sangeet on the evening of 4th January will be indoors. The Haldi & Mehendi and the Shaadi on 5th January will take place outdoors.
We’ll have a mix of North and South Indian dishes, served buffet style. Vegetarian options will be available on both days. Non-vegetarian dishes and alcohol will be served only on the night of the Ring Ceremony & Sangeet (4th Jan). If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know!
We want everyone to feel comfortable and fabulous, so no strict dress code here! But if you’re feeling desi (aka keen on rocking those amazing Indian outfits), we’ve got a look book in the Recommendations section with outfit ideas and color vibes. Whether you go full-on traditional or modern chic, just come ready to party in style!
Refer to the Recommendations section for suggestions for places to shop in Bengaluru.
We're super excited to have you there and your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you’d still like to gift us something, we request $$ (any currency) only please.
Indian weddings are lively and colourful, filled with rituals, music, and dancing! Feel free to ask us or someone at the event if you’re curious about any particular ceremony. Just come ready to have fun and celebrate with us!
WiFi will be available at the wedding venue. For mobile data, we recommend getting an eSIM before you travel (you can check out options like Airalo or ByteSIM). Alternatively, you can pick up a local SIM at the airport, which usually costs around USD 10-15.
Uber and Ola are reliable options in Bengaluru (note that Ola may require an Indian phone number for setup). For a touch of local flavour, you can also try autorickshaws—either through these apps or by hailing one on the street (just be sure to ask the driver to use the meter before starting the ride)!
Most malls and restaurants accept credit/debit cards (including Revolut, YouTrip & Wise), but it’s a good idea to carry cash for smaller shops and ride-hailing services. We suggest having around ₹2,000-₹3,000 (~USD 24-36) per person per day to cover local expenses.
