The Mehendi ceremony is a cherished pre-wedding tradition where intricate henna is applied to celebrate love, beauty, and new beginnings. Mehendi is seen as a symbol of suhaag (a blissful married life) and represents vibrance, fertility, and positive energy. Everyone irrespective of gender is encouraged to get a small henna design on their hands from the henna artists. We’ll also be celebrating a traditional Marathi ceremony called “Chooda,” where the bride is adorned with colorful bangles — a symbol of love, prosperity, and her new journey. All women guests will be able to choose and wear bangles of their choice to join in the tradition and add to the festive spirit!
