Anisa and Andrew met at the climbing gym in October 2024, one month after Anisa moved to Houston. Within a few weeks, they had made things official and spent most of their time playing tennis, climbing, and exploring new restaurants. Throughout the first few months, they both realized that this was something special and could really last. As time went on, Anisa and Andrew began seriously talking about the future as they shared many core values and could see the other as not only a loving husband and wife, but as amazing parents. By Thanksgiving 2025, Andrew let Anisa know that by this time next year they would be attending Thanksgiving as fiance's (little did he know they would also be married by then!). Thanksgiving was such a special time for Anisa to meet Andrew's extended family and it was a special time for Andrew, as well- his mom let him know that she would love for him to use her engagement diamond for Anisa's ring. Once the ring was made, in true Andrew fashion, he could not wait another second to propose. Within 24 hours of getting the ring, he put the proposal plans together. He got down on one knee on January 31st, 2026 in Brenham, Texas, a place so special to both of them. It was an easy yes from Anisa and now a life full of love, fun, and commitment awaits! We cannot wait to share this day with so many close friends and family!
