We're getting married!

Our Story Our story begins in 2019 when David was scrolling through Instagram and spotted a photo of Karolina on her best friend Rianne’s story. Without hesitation, he messaged Rianne saying, “This is my dream girl. Who is she?” Not long after, we went on our first date for bubble tea at Avalanche. We spent hours talking, laughing, and quickly realizing how easy it felt to be together. That fall, Karolina returned to UIUC to finish school, and we spent every weekend switching off who would travel to who. We loved spending time together, meeting each other’s friends, and slowly merging our lives. In 2021, we took our first big trip together to Montana and fell in love with exploring the mountains side by side. The views were breathtaking, but even better was realizing how much we enjoy adventuring together. Not long after, we added our sweet dog, Kacper, to the family—he’s been keeping life fun ever since. In April 2024, during a trip to Banff, Canada, David proposed surrounded by stunning mountain views. It was the easiest “yes” and the perfect reflection of who we are as a couple—always ready for our next adventure. We can’t wait to say “I do” and begin our next chapter—hopefully with many more mountain trips to come!
