Airport Information

You can fly to either EuroAirport Basel–Mulhouse–Freiburg or Zürich Airport — both are roughly the same distance from Bern. Alternatively, Geneva airport is also an option.

Train

Train Information

You can easily book your train from SBB online. If you plan ahead (about two weeks), you might find cheaper saver tickets (“Sparbillet”). There are also day-pass tickets available.

Public transport in Bern

You can find all the necessary information about Bern in the official webpage, you can also use SBB app for tramway tickets. 1. How to reach the ceremony place by public transport (Neues Schloss Bümpliz; Bümplizstrasse 97, 3018 Bern): Tram 7 (Direction “Bern, Bümpliz”, get out at the stop “Bümpliz Post” and walk for 3 mins); Tram 8 (Direction “Bern Brünnen Westside, Bahnhof”, stop at “Bethlehem Säge” and walk for 10 mins); Bus 101 (Direction “Hinterkappelen, Schlossmatt”, stop at “Bethlehem Kirche” and walk for 11 mins) 2. How to reach the party place by public transport (Matte Brennerei / Events; Mühlenpl. 5, 3011 Bern) From Bern Hauptbahnhof (Main station), you can take bus no. 10, 12, 19 - or alternative tram 6, 7, 8, 9 to the stop named "Zytglogge", and then walk for 12 mins in Bern's beautiful and historical old town. The instructions at Googlemaps are reliable.
