We met at the former Club Hippo in November 2008. After a few songs, Tiffany offered to buy Anika a drink of her choice. We exchanged phone numbers and found each other on social media. We tried to coordinate to hangout but it did not work out due to long distance....Manassas, Va to/from Baltimore, Md was just way tooooooo far. Fast forward to 2015 we reconnected via social media and went on our first only unofficial unplanned date at Mother's Federal Hill Grille in Baltimore, MD to watch the Patriots vs. Steelers football game. After the first and only unofficial date, we were basically inseparable.

On March 31, 2018, we were on the beach in Turks and Caicos with a group of fabulous ladies with whom we were vacationing with. Tiffany had asked Anika to go on a walk. We were strolling the beach while listening to Prince's "Til the End of Time" song. Anika wanted to return back to the group and that was when Tiffany decided to get on bended knee and presented Anika with a ring. Anika accepted with smiles and laughter and disbelief.

On September 8, 2018, we were invited out to TopGolf with friends. When it was Tiffany's turn to swing the club, Anika decided that it was the perfect time to ask Tiffany to be her forever. Tiffany was just about to grab her ball and found Anika on bended knee, where she struggled while laughing to get her ring out. Tiffany was so shocked and didn't know what was happening until she saw Anika finally pull out the ring box. To Tiffany's surprise, Anika asked her to be her forever, and with gratitude and love, Tiffany accepted.
