Life was rather boring when I first started my job. 6 months into it, Anika came along. When we first started talking, it didn't take long to realize there was a connection. We first bonded over our love for cooking and food, and then traveling. It wasn't too long after that that Anika introduced something into my life that I didn't have much experience with: Culture. It was at this moment that I was hooked. Learning about her holidays and traditions, her traditional meals, and the way she values family and community intrigued me the most. It was at this point that Anika opened a whole new world for me, and for that I am forever grateful. Through many amazing experiences, including drawing each other at the MOMA in New York, to eating beignets in New Orleans, and even watching an episode of our new favorite show, we have grown closer and closer. However, the best thing that Anika brings to my life is her willingness to push me to be a better person. The love she has for me and the things that I do to make me better will always be cherished. This is the love of my life, and the community and family she has brought into my life make me the happiest man in the world. So join us as we tie the knot again this upcoming September.
