Marco and I met, while attending school. We had a crush on each other for quite some time. I ended up moving away, so we were not able to pursue a relationship at the time. Fast forward to 2017, He found my Instagram and "slid in my DM's". We started talking and catching up with each other about life. Marco did not want to risk losing me again, so he asked me to be his girlfriend, and we made it official. In 2020, we were blessed with our daughter, Nova. Marco and I talked about marriage and shopped for rings, all while I would try to figure out when he would pop the question. Here we are, happily engaged. I am counting down the days to become, Mrs. Anika Carter!
