Yes! The entire day will take place at The Zoo Event Venue (26931 60 Ave, Langley, BC, V4W 1V6). This is a private event space that is in the backyard of a residential house in Langley.
We have access to the entire venue so it will be a mix of indoor & outdoor spaces! The ceremony will be held completely outdoors while the rest of the night will be both indoor and outdoor. For dinner, you will be seated indoors and dancing for the rest of the night will be outside
Yes! There will be an overnight parking lot at the venue. You’re more than welcome to drive to the ceremony and pick your car up the next morning by 12:00pm.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We’d love for everyone to be fully present with us in the moment and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like.
We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. We hope this advanced notice means you are still able to join us for our big day! Only immediate family children will be invited.
To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue’s capacity, we ask that only guests named on your invite attend our wedding.
We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire. Please no denim, short dresses and avoid shades of white. For women, appropriate attire would be floor-length, tea-length or midi-length dresses. For men, appropriate attire would be a formal suit and tie. The ceremony will be held outside.
Yes! There will be beer, wine and mixed drinks but no shots. The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you… get ready to party!!!
We have a discount code available for the Sandman Signature Hotel in Langley. All booking details can be found on the Travel tab of our wedding website. The hotel is a short 15 minute drive from the venue.
Please RSVP by March 31st, 2025 so we can communicate the final numbers to our venue and caterer.
We will be having a buffet dinner so there will be something for everyone! If it’s a very specific dietary requirement, please contact either Anika or Brinton and we will communicate it to the caterer.
Our wedding day will end at 11:30 pm.
