Let's celebrate!

COVID may have kept us from celebrating with all our friends and family on July 25th, but we are ready to celebrate our 1st anniversary with everyone! We look forward to seeing everyone in July!

Both of us were having trouble meeting someone "in the wild" and decided to take a risk and try out one of those new and ever so popular dating apps. Luckily, we both happened to be on the same app and we matched profiles because our paths would probably have never crossed. While we both enjoy a lot of the same things, Tyler at the time was working the night shift. After matching, Sarah had to be brave and send the first message, but we instantly connected over football. Sarah was relieved he wasn't a Panthers fan, but she couldn't understand how he was a 49ers fan from Texas who lived in North Carolina. Tyler was relieved Sarah wasn't a Dallas or Seahawks fan and we agreed to accept each others shades of red. A week or so later after deciding we still had things to talk about we met for our first date. Our first date was at Preyer Brewing in Greensboro, NC on March 31st, 2018. Sarah had had a stressful day and was in the midst of a small crisis and didn't really feel like going on a blind-ish date, and Tyler had spent the afternoon golfing and had run out of time to get a haircut meaning he had to wear a hat on our first date. Despite the crazy days leading up to it when we met we ended up talking long into the night. After the first date, Sarah went to the Masters Tournament, making Tyler very jealous and while we didn't see each other again for another few weeks, we talked almost every day. We continued to go out and became "official" on May 31st, 2018. Our story took the best turn when, on January 25th, 2020, Tyler completely surprised Sarah by proposing to her at Veronet Vineyards outside of Charlotte, NC. We are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and are so happy for everyone to join us on our special day!
