Sam and Katie have been best friends since 7th grade but have known each other for even longer! It was the English class seating chart and the tendency for homework procrastination who brought these two besties together. Of course, it was only fitting that the MOH title goes to the girl who's been by our bride's side for more than a decade.

Juan Guadarrama-Perez

Best Man

Juan and Andrei became friends while they were deployed in Kuwait. Both had similar interests and senses of humor. While deployed they would go on runs, workout with others, play video games, and lift heavy boxes in the desert heat. After deployment, Juan, Vinai, and Andrei all moved into the same apartment. The fun never ended, as they would go on many side quests, ranging from trying new cars to finding the best cheese for charcuterie boards.

Alica and Katie's high school friendship was late entry, but you know what they say, better late than never! The girlies have come a long way since senior year blizzard prom and their friendship stayed strong despite long distances. Their conversation picks up right where it left off whenever they see each other.

Vinai Thao

Vinai and Andrei's friendship started with a simple question from Andrei when they met during army job training; "Are you from Minnesota?". They were assigned to the same unit, hanging out and joking each drill weekend, until their contracts ended. Vinai, Juan, and Andrei still meet up to try various restaurants around the Twin Cities.

Arleth is Katie's biggest friendship flex. She's a first gen college graduate who finished undergrad in 2 years and went on to become a lawyer! Besides her academic achievements, she has a heart of gold and she's beyond loyal to her friends. Katie is always laughing when she's with Arleth and she can't wait for you all to meet her!

Kevin and Andrei first met through their girlfriends. They got to know each other after many double dates, and realized they have many shared interests, such as coding, spreadsheets, computers and gaming, pets, and watching anime. Kevin enjoys running, and invited Andrei to run a half marathon the weekend after the wedding.

Caroline Schoessow

If Katie could describe Caroline in one word, it would be "baddie." She's unapologetically unique, get's her own bag, and has an amazing sense of style. She's another one of Katie's long distance besties who can pick up a conversation right where they last left it off months ago.

Of all the things Kathleen and Katie have in common, one truly stands out the most- their brutal honesty! These two are the realest of the friend group. Katie can always trust Kathleen to have her back and tell her if there's spinach in her teeth.
