We found love in a hopeless place! We both swiped right on each other and met up in Chinatown DC for a post-class date in late 2017. We ended up talking the whole night and only left after the bar closed up. We made our relationship official on 1.1.2018 after celebrating New Years together (and because it's an easy day to remember).
7.12.2020 We were wrapping up a wonderful beach week with the family when we decided to go on a bike ride. On our way back, Ben suggested we watch the sunset along the scenic bike path. It was then that he got down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?" Anh was so giggly that she said "I do" instead of "Yes" and had to ask him to get back on the gravel so she could properly say "Yes". We waited for a person to come by so we could get a picture to memorialize the event. Little did we know that we would find a scrawny, shirtless young man with a handgun visibly sticking out his crotch to take a photo for us. We said "thanks" and dashed out of there. Neither of us knew that Delaware was an open carry state. We are just both grateful he didn't do the "death 'til you part" test then and there :)
The wedding is ON! We have secured the American Visionary Arts Museum venue in Baltimore, MD as our new location and will be able to accommodate all our guests. We apologize for the inconvenience but we can't proceed with our original plans in Washington DC due to their capacity constraints.
