Christmas 2018 he gave me a trip to Nashville (my favorite place) to see the St. Louis Blues play the Nashville Predators (I had previously said this was on my list of things to do). On February 9 we left for our quick weekend getaway. I had no idea all our kids and friends were in on it! Scott didn’t speak for most of the drive and kept his hand on his leg and never moved (I even sent my friend a picture and said, he is acting really strange). When we got into Nashville we drove down Broadway and I pointed out that I’d never been to Jason Aldeans Rooftop Bar, but really wanted to go there and he knew that was the place. We checked in to the hotel and there were flowers in the room (such a nice touch) he was immediately ready to head to Broadway. After hanging out and having a few drinks, I was ready to head to the next stop. As we got down to the street level- he said that Adam (his son and a Jason Aldean fan) wanted a picture of us in front of the restaurant. I stopped this nice lady and asked if she could take our picture. While I was scouting out the perfect spot, Scott was apparently telling her the real deal. Right as she went to take our picture he looked at me and said, I don’t want a picture, I really want a video… after that, it was a blur! It was absolutely the perfect spot with the perfect person.
