The Wedding of Angus Martin and Sarah Swanson

It all started with Italian Food. Angus and Sarah were only co-workers at Carrabba's Italian Grill until one night Angus said, "Huh, she's pretty cute!". Of course, Angus thought this the moment she left the state for 40 days! He had great timing, right? After many late nights texting back and forth, Sarah finally agreed to that first date. Over 2 years later Angus and Sarah are still centering their relationship around Italian food, coffee, and Jesus.

Sarah's family always did a lot of camping trips every year. Angus went with them in 2016 for one of his first camping trip experiences. So when her family invited them again in October of 2017, it was a no brainer. Angus and Sarah drove up separate with his labrador and met up with her family and Aunt and Uncle who were also camping. On the last evening, Sarah's family walked up a new trail Sarah had never been up before even though she had gone to the campground a dozen times. A 100 feet along the trail, there was a tree tied with a purple ribbon with a bucket filled with a succulent and photo. Not thinking it was for her, Sarah walked right past! It wasn't until Angus called it to her attention that she realized what was going on. 6 buckets later and at the most beautiful overlook in the park, Sarah unscrambled the buckets to spell "Marry Me" and Angus went down on one knee. After many tears of joy Sarah said, "Yes!".
