Clark and Sarah met during their freshman year at TCU in an English class. They noticed each other right away and enjoyed some playful chit-chat. When they were paired up for a final project, they spent a lot of time together, which brought them closer. During their project, they went on a casual breakfast date and started hanging out at fraternity parties. Their connection grew, and they soon became a couple. The rest, as they say, is history!
Clark’s proposal was a memorable highlight of their Midwest adventure. On Christmas Eve, he chose Sarah's mom’s house in Carmel, Indiana, as the perfect backdrop for his surprise. With the help of Sarah’s sisters, Clark orchestrated a plan to propose. His mission was to distract Sarah by taking her and their pup, Ollie, for a walk. Although Sarah was hesitant at first, she eventually agreed. Meanwhile, Sarah's sisters transformed the back porch into a romantic setting, adorned with rose petals and candles, creating an ideal scene for the proposal. When Clark and Sarah returned from their walk, he guided her inside, where their families were waiting. To Sarah's amazement, Clark’s family had flown in to join the celebration. As Sarah took in the surprise, Clark got down on one knee and proposed, surrounded by their loved ones. It was a moment of pure joy and love, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.
