Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve
If you go anywhere while you are in Westcliffe, CO - we highly recommend checking out the sand dunes! Whether you plan to climb to the top (allow a full day and pack accordingly) or to just experience the beauty and sand from the base, you will not be dissapointed.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
It's no secret that Kelly love's herself a zoo! The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo tops the list. With it's interactive elements and stunning views, this zoo is worth a visit if you have the time!
The Mile High City
There is a long list of recommendations we can give if you plan to head to Denver (feel free to give us a call). Here are a few that top the list: Red Rocks, Meow Wolf, Kaos Pizzeria (our first date in CO), Linger or El Five, Torchy's Tacos, Union Station.
Take a Hike!
You really can't go wrong heading out anywhere in the Rocky Mountains. Whether you head to another mountain town (Breckenridge, Aspen, Vail, etc.) or hike a trail close to Westcliffe, CO Springs, or Denver - you will not be dissappointed.
