How far is the event from the suggested hotels?

Answer

Great question! From the Richmond Hill hotels, about 15 minutes through town. From the Savannah Historic District hotels, about 30-45 minutes with mostly highways or Interstate 95.

Is downtown Savannah safe?

Answer

It's complicated. The Savannah Historic district is safe during the day but can get tricky after dark. There are many areas that are perfectly safe and these are the ones we have suggested. The Broughton Street, Bay Street, City Market, and River Street areas are fine but outside of that you have to know where to go or not to go. If you would like us to make you an itinerary or give you some more suggestions, just let us know!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal. No jeans, please. We want our guests to be comfortable but festive. It’s a celebration!

Where do I park?

Answer

You will be able to park street-side along the cul-de-sac. Driveway parking is reserved for handicap only.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at 4:00pm to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. The reception will be held inside a tent. Both will be on grass.
