We're Getting Married!

It was definitely a surprise! We spent the morning and early afternoon at Disneyland one of our favorite places! I thought it was a little unusual he decided to wear a button up to Disneyland, but didn't read much into it. Anyways, we had plans later that night to have dinner at my parents, my mom was making my favorite dinner...crab enchiladas. We had dinner and we were just hanging out watching TV and the doorbell rings...it's Ryan's momma and step dad. They told me they were just in the neighborhood, again I didn't read into it. We were all sitting in the front room in front of the Christmas tree talking when my mom told Ryan to check the tree for water and then Ryan asks me to take a picture with him in front of the Xmas tree. I reluctantly get up (i was wearing a pullover sweatshirt and my minnie mouse hat, I didn't want a picture looking like that). That's when he fessed up and said this whole thing was planned and his parents didn't just happen to be in the neighborhood. Suddenly, it all makes sense and I finally realize what is happening. Ryan is on one knee and "wondering" if i would marry him. ::cue the water works:: OF COURSE I WOULD! This was one of the best days of my life, but this proposal means even more to me now than before. I am grateful Ryan chose to include our parents and grateful my mom made Sabrina stay to witness our engagement. Especially having my dad be there; not having my dad there on my big day is going to be extremely hard, but knowing he was able to witness this beautiful moment in his little girls life means so much to me.
