March 2 - 21, 2027 A direct ride on the southbound MetroRail from Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District will take you to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the world’s largest livestock exhibition and rodeo. Get a general grounds ticket to enjoy the carnival, wine garden, shopping, and the agriculture exhibitions. With a rodeo ticket, you will also be able to see the rodeo events and concert. The concert lineup for the 2027 HLSR will be announced in January!
Within walking distance of Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District, you will find the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural Science, the Children's Museum Houston, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, the Houston Center for Photography, the Menil Collection, and the Rothko Chapel.
Across the street from Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District, Hermann Park is a gorgeous park home to McGovern Centennial Gardens, Miller Outdoor Theatre, and Hermann Park Golf Course.
The Houston Zoo is within Hermann Park. Be sure to purchase your ticket online in advance. A portion of each ticket goes to protecting animals in the wild.
Rice Village is a short drive from Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District, and is one of our favorite shopping/dining centers in Houston. Be sure to grab a glass of wine at Sixty Vines (one of our first dates) or a sweet treat at Jenni's!
A quick ride on the northbound Metro Rail from Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District will take you to downtown. Downtown hosts plenty of events, including tours and sporting events. Take a trip to the parks, restaurants, bars, or the underground tunnels.
