Angie hails from Northern New York, and is the loving mother of Layla and Nolan. Angie relocated to Northern Virginia in 2003 where she would later meet Nils in 2016. Angie enjoys keeping in touch with all of her friends, near and far.
Nils Echols
Groom
Nils was born outside of Denver, CO but grew up in Pennsylvania. Nils has lived in 10 different states (in multiple locations for two of those states) including two continents. It only took 30 years of travelling before Nils finally met who he was looking for the whole time; Angie.
Eli Echols
Best Man
Eli is the oldest of the Echols kids and the brother of the groom. Eli is an attorney in immigration law. He, his wife Nicola, and their four children have driven into town from Atlanta, GA to help celebrate the happy union.
Layla Miller
Bridesmaid
Layla is the oldest child of Angie. She is going to be a junior at Chantilly High School. She plays in band and is also in marching band. She likes to hunt and loves to spend time with her friends and family.
Nolan Miller
Groomsman
Nolan is the youngest child of Angie. He loves pizza because it's cheesy and good with pepperoni and sausage. Nolan likes playing basketball, and loves his family because they do everything for him and he appreciates it. Nolan has completed 5th grade, and is proud to have earned his black belt in the fall of 2018.
Rev. Christopher Barber
Officiant
Reverend Barber is a priest in the tradition of the New Church, which prizes living good lives in accordance with the truths of God. Rev. Barber currently teaches religion at the secondary level where he is delighted to do the work of bringing heaven and earth closer together for adolescents through the academic study of scripture and doctrine, and the consideration of how these teachings can become part of daily life.
