Obviously not. Neither one of us is traditional. There will be no first dance, cutting of the cake, sit down dinner, or other boring wedding stuff. There will be great music, friends, and lots of laughs. We encourage you to have fun and get to know others. We think we have some pretty rad friends and family.
After 6 years together, we are extremely lucky to have love, laughter, and a house full of furniture. If you'd like to help honor us with a gift, a cash gift would be very welcome.
Though your invitation included a return card we would really prefer that you use this website. There is an rsvp tab in the menu. Let us know if you have any issues or if your name isn't showing up. Your name has to match what was entered in the system when you registered.
Cocktail attire is recommended but wear what you feel comfortable in. Be sure to bring your espartinak or dancing shoes.
Though we LOVE all your children, space is a limiting factor. If your kids are invited you'll know. If they haven't been invited- this is your chance to have a child-free night out 😉
Due to capacity issues, a small private ceremony will be held in advance of the reception.
There are hotels within walking distance of the venue. We are also a short drive from the Long Beach Airport where there are several other options. See the "Travel" page for recommended locations and block information. We do recommend that you stay nearby, designate a sober driver (I have my DD for life), come with one of Michelle's AA friends (they'll be the only people not drinking at this wedding), or Uber :) -Angie
