July in Ireland can be slightly unpredictable, though we can expect temperatures with a high of 75F and a low of 50F. The ceremony and reception are taking place indoors, but do check on the possibility of rain or sun ahead of time and prepare yourself accordingly.

The Republic of Ireland currently uses the Euro, while Northern Ireland (UK) uses the Pound.

Yes and no! Yes, in being that it will be lots of fun, great food and drinks and lots of dancing. However it will last quite a bit longer than your typical American wedding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We recommend that you arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure ample time to park, enjoy the surroundings, and make your way to The Granary.

Do I get to bring a guest?

We are delighted to welcome you to our upcoming event and appreciate the excitement of sharing special moments. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly request that guests attend solo unless a "plus one" has been explicitly indicated on your invitation. While we value and understand the desire to share the festivities with a companion, this gathering is meticulously planned to accommodate the specified number of attendees. Your cooperation in adhering to this guideline is sincerely appreciated, as it helps us maintain the intended atmosphere and ensures a memorable time for all.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! A QR code will be shared to enable attendees to upload pictures to a shared album.

Are kids invited?

Answer

No, kids will not be invited. We hope you understand that our wedding will be kid-free, except for those participating in the wedding.

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP from you by the February 1st deadline, you will be marked "not attending." The reason for this is that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors in a timely manner.

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams.

What does black tie mean?

Answer

As we prepare to celebrate this special occasion, we kindly request that our esteemed attendees wear black tie attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to don tuxedos or dark-colored suits, while ladies are invited to wear floor to midi length evening gowns. Although we say “black tie” you are not required to wear the color black. Color is welcomed with consideration of the evening. This dress code is not merely a formality but a collective effort to enhance the overall ambiance of our gathering. Your adherence to the black tie attire is appreciated, as it contributes to the refined atmosphere we aspire to create together. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the bride or the groom. Thank you for your understanding and participation in making this event truly exceptional.
