Our Love Story

Angie & Jace — Our Love Story When Angie and Jace met, love was the last thing either of them expected. Angie was surviving unimaginable grief, having just lost her teenage son. Each day required strength she never knew she had, and her heart carried a quiet, constant ache. Jace was coming out of his own life-altering chapter, newly divorced and learning how to stand on different ground than before. Neither of them was searching for romance—only companionship. A friend. Someone to talk to who didn’t expect too much. They met on Facebook, in the simplest way. No grand intentions. Just conversation. What began as friendship grew naturally, without pressure or pretense. They talked openly—about loss, about change, about how life can break you and still somehow ask you to keep going. There was comfort in being understood, and healing in being heard. Slowly, almost without noticing, that friendship deepened into something more. Something real. Their first date wasn’t what anyone would call traditional—it was a monster truck rally. Loud, chaotic, and full of energy. And yet, in the middle of the roaring engines and cheering crowd, they felt something unmistakably clear. Amid all the noise, there was certainty. That night, they knew they didn’t want to see anyone else. They chose each other—exclusively—and it felt right. What makes our love so meaningful is where it came from. It was born not out of ease, but out of resilience. Not from perfect timing, but from two people brave enough to open their hearts when they had every reason to keep them guarded. They didn’t erase each other’s pasts—they honored them. They didn’t try to fix one another—they simply stood side by side. Their love is gentle because it understands pain. It is strong because it has been shaped by hardship. And it is beautiful because it arrived unexpectedly, exactly when it was needed most. This is our story. Unplanned. Unforced. Still unfolding. And written every day with gratitude, love, and choice.
