When quant meets qual

Sometimes, when two awkward, convicted souls meet, it just fits. We met in a stats classroom and grew into our relationship over six months of conversation. We fell in love quickly and slowly, figuring us out as we went along. In our first year together, we have wandered through complicated thoughts on God, debated politics and the teachability of empathy, adopted a rescue puppy, moved three times, endeavored sobriety, gained a PhD and a Bachelors, and stood up to multiple painful and scary personal moments. We approach things differently and the same, providing the grey to each other's black and white. We help each other into grace for ourselves and for others. We eloped because we wanted it to be about us and our little furry family. We want June 22nd to be about celebrating with the people we love, who have stood by us loyally and faithfully in our lives. We love you and appreciate you more than we can say. Thank you for being the kind of friends and family we are proud to share our life with.
