After a solo move to San Diego, Angie decided it was time to get to know her new city and took a chance on Hinge. On July 3, 2021, two strangers met for what would become the best first date we could have imagined - filled with flying axes, easy conversation, and nonstop laughter. What began that night unfolded into a true California summer dream, with sun-soaked beach days, late nights that stretched into mornings, and a love that only continued to grow. As summer faded into fall, we knew this love was real, grounded, and true. The holidays brought time with both our families, and those first formal introductions only confirmed what we already felt in our hearts: this was something special. By the following spring, we had moved in together, already building a home filled with comfort, humor, and intentional, daily connection. Three years later, Angie came home from an ordinary Thursday at work to rose petals lining the floor of our first apartment, and Gino got down on one knee in the living room - marking the official beginning of forever. Five years later, the magic hasn’t faded. There are still flowers “just because,” endless laughter, and a deep love rooted in admiration for each other’s minds, humor, and hearts.
