Historical tours of Flagler College, located in the former Hotel Ponce de León, offer a look into the Gilded Age luxury and Spanish Renaissance architecture, highlighting features like the Tiffany stained-glass windows in the Dining Hall, the Rotunda with its hand-carved oak caryatids, and the courtyard. Tours are guided, last about an hour, and run daily, exploring the ground floor of the active campus, including the Rotunda, Courtyard, and Dining Hall, with new interactive exhibits on history and architecture.

Fort Matanzas National Monument preserves the fortified coquina watchtower, completed in 1742, which defended the southern approach to the Spanish military settlement of St. Augustine. It also protects approximately 300 acres of Florida coastal environment containing dunes, marsh, maritime forest, and associated flora and fauna, including threatened and endangered species.
