Our Story

Connor and Angie met March of 2023, after Angie's best friend (and now bridesmaid!) insisted on creating her a dating profile. Connor was immediately attracted to Angie's witty political commentary, and the fact that she was also a Golden Gopher, currently in Physical Therapy school while Connor was beginning Medical School at the University of Minnesota. Angie on the other hand, was taken by Connor's love for MN lake life, dogs, and his handsome looks wearing a white coat. Our first date took place at Pryes Brewery in Minneapolis, in which we hit it off talking about our interests and passions for nearly 3 hours. This sparked a trend of "Friday night date nights" exploring different breweries and restaurants around the Twin Cities area. One of these date nights included our fond memory of Connor disregarding blizzard warnings during a date to the bowling alley, resulting in a car nearly in the ditch following. Our relationship grew with time, based upon our shared values, engaging conversations, and simply enjoying one another's company. Months into our relationship included trips together, being present for life milestones (graduations, beginnings of jobs), prioritizing our weekly date nights, and indoctrinating Angie into the Notre Dame fandom. Connor proposed to Angie July of 2024 at Sovereign Estates Winery on Lake Waconia - a place we had enjoyed multiple dates together throughout our relationship. We celebrated our engagement with both of our families on the lake following to make for an absolutely perfect day. Since then, we have enjoyed wedding planning during our crazy busy lives. Angie completed physical therapy residency in August of 2025 and started her professional career at Mayo Clinic. Connor is currently finishing up his 4th year of medical school before heading to the Mayo Clinic for diagnostic radiology residency (after a one year stop for intern year at Sanford in Fargo)! Most importantly, our excitement continues to build as we approach May 30th, 2026!
